Does your Dad (or partner/husband) get grumpy if he doesn't sleep well? Dads do a great job of staying strong and powering through but sleep is important and a bit of help doesn't go astray.

This Father's Day, how about gifting Dad a good night's sleep with some powerful and all-natural sleep essential oils? The wonderful thing is, when one bed partner uses them, the other benefits too!

In a book titled The Informed Parent: A Science-Based Resource for Your Child's First Four Yearsa 2013 study was mentioned that examined parents of newborns and how much sleep they were getting in the first few weeks. The results were measured using wrist trackers and showed that while the mothers' sleep was disturbed more often (mostly due to feeding), fathers actually got less sleep than the mothers and experienced worse sleepiness.

The Queensland Health Department says that an estimated 100 or more new dads experience postnatal psychological distress every week and that nationwide, one in ten men suffer depression after the birth of their child.

In older dads, insomnia, frequent waking, daytime fatigue and light sleep can be an issue. In fact, up to 40% of the elderly battle these sleep-related problems.

No matter what age, at some point, most dads will have trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep. It can be easy to reach for a tablet but if an effective natural sleep remedy is available, shouldn't that always be your first go-to?

We hope all dads have a wonderful Father's Day and maybe even get a chance to have a lovely afternoon snooze in the sunshine.
